Description

Description:

Cut 3 PLUS with HICOAT coating HC-FEP is characterized by its high hardness and wear resistance. It enables effective chip removal through improved anti-adhesion characteristics and is highly temperature-resistant. It allows for a longer tool life and use at higher cutting speeds in comparison with uncoated burrs. Tree-shaped burr with radius end according to DIN 8032 with cut conforming to DIN 8033.

Feature:

  • Radius corner design: 2.5 mm
  • RPM from, hardened, heat-treated steels over 1,200 N/mm²: 7000 RPM
  • RPM from, steels up to 1,200 N/mm²: 12000 RPM
  • RPM to, hardened, heat-treated steels over 1,200 N/mm²: 12000 RPM
  • RPM to, steels up to 1,200 N/mm²: 20000 RPM
  • Cut: 3 PLUS HC-FEP
  • Dia. external, metric: 12 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
  • Length, cut: 25 mm
  • Length, total: 65 mm

Advantage:

  • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: If the smallest area of the burr diameter is being used, the recommended rotational speed can be increased accordingly. To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 6 mm with drives with a power output from 300 watts.
  • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder

Material:

  • Materials that can be worked:
    • Case-hardened steels
    • Cast steel
    • Hard aluminium alloys
    • Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
    • Steel
    • Steel, cast steel
    • Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
    • Steels over 700 N/mm² (> 220 HB)
    • Steels up to 700 N/mm² (< 220 HB)
    • Tool steels
    • Materials that can be worked: Case-hardened steels; Cast steel; Hard aluminium alloys; Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC); Steel; Steel, cast steel; Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC); Steels over 700 N/mm² (> 220 HB); Steels up to 700 N/mm² (< 220 HB); Tool steels
