Description

Description:

PFERD TOOLS has further developed the ALU cut especially for stock removal on aluminium. This cut is characterized by its high stock removal rate. Ball-shaped burr according to DIN 8032.

Feature:

  • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 32000 RPM
  • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 32000 RPM
  • RPM from, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 32000 RPM
  • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 59000 RPM
  • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 59000 RPM
  • RPM to, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 59000 RPM
  • Cut: ALU
  • Dia. external, metric: 6 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 3 mm
  • Length, cut: 5 mm
  • Length, total: 35 mm

Advantage:

  • Extremely high stock removal rate.
  • Large chips.
  • Reduced material adhesion.
  • Long tool life and smooth running.
  • Can be used with cutting speeds of up to 1,100 m/min.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: To prevent vibrations, place the tools on powerful drives with an elastically supported spindle wherever possible. Observe the recommended rotational speeds. To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 3 mm with drives with a power output of 75 to 300 watts.
  • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder

Material:

  • Materials that can be worked:
    • Aluminium
    • Brass
    • Bronze
    • Copper
    • Fibre-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP, CRP)
    • Hard aluminium alloys
    • Hard non-ferrous metal
    • Plastics
