Description:
For profile grinding, use both corundum and CBN discs to machine HSS. Carbide, on the other hand, should only be ground with diamond. For pre-grinding, we recommend using grit size 54 in a mixture of aluminium oxide and sintered aluminium oxide. Grit size 100 should be used for finish grinding and fine profiles. Alternatively B151 in CBN. Finer grit sizes are generally used for carbide.
