Description

Version:

PVD-coated carbide indexable inserts for machining various materials. The universal tool material enables reliable working under changing operating conditions. These indexable inserts are characterised by a high degree of wear resistance and tensile strength as well as the possibility for use for wet and dry machining.
APKT, APMT and APPT indexable inserts are ideal for a wide range of milling applications, from high-precision finishing to universal and specialised machining processes.
  • APKT inserts offer maximum dimensional accuracy and are ideal for precise finishing tasks where a high surface quality is required.
  • APMT inserts are more robust and versatile, ideal for universal milling applications involving medium to high loads.
  • APPT inserts have an optimised cutting edge geometry, which is advantageous for efficient chip formation and special materials.

Note:

Standard application values for ae = 0.3 × D.
apmax = 7.0 mm.
