The Bluetooth®-enabled GARANT electronic torque screwdriver HCT is very light, yet packed full of features for screwing, saving and recording screwdriving cases with utmost precision. It eliminates the need to laboriously transfer measurement values manually – a process which is prone to errors.
HCT stands for Hoffmann Group Connected Toolsand is a platform for digitalising your measurement processes. HCT uses state-of-the-art Bluetooth®-enabled tools and innovative apps to automatically transfer measurement data to smartphones, tablets and computers, meaning you can work faster, more effectively, and more accurately than before.
The GARANT electronic torque screwdriver HCT provides a wealth of benefits
- The familiar HCT menu structure for intuitive operation
- Easily charge the lithium-ion rechargeable battery in the screwdriver via a USB cable or externally in an optional charger. This eliminates the hassle of changing batteries.
- Standardised battery concept enables the same type of battery to be used for different HCT torque devices
- Less strain when working thanks to its lightweight design, even when using it for prolonged periods of time
- Quickly and easily record the measurement values via the Bluetooth® app or Bluetooth® HID

- Display: high-contrast, illuminated 1.3-inch TFT colour display with stable viewing angle, dimmable, with battery indicator
- Rotating display enables the measurement values to be read off easily from any position
- Memory capacity: 1000 measurement values with timestamp (incl. date and time), 100 screwdriving cases and 10 workflows with up to 10 screwdriving cases each
- Various modes: can be programmed via app or directly on the tool. Displaying torque & triggering torque
- Display and values: Peak and Track function modes
- Handling: lightweight design with ergonomic 2-component handle
- Thanks to the HCT apps, HCT smart dongle or HCT foot switch, you can extend the GARANT torque screwdriver HCT to include numerous additional features. The HCT mobile app is available free of charge from the app stores. There is also a Windows app which incurs a fee but offers even more features. The torque screwdriver can also be used independently, however, without the app
- Password protection: available as protection against unauthorised access to the menu (master password) and for verifying screwdriving cases. In addition, if a test case has been performed incorrectly, you can set that any further work requires the input of a password.
- Warning signals: visual (the colour changes on the display & LED ring), acoustic (buzzer) and haptic (vibration). The intensity of the acoustic warning signal can be configured as desired or deactivated.

Advantages of using the torque tester HCT with a torque screwdriver HCT
- The measurement values of the torque screwdriver HCT and the torque tester HCT are simultaneously shown on the display of the torque tester.
- Display and automatic evaluation of the peak values achieved by the torque screwdriver HCT and the torque tester HCT.
- Torque screwdrivers HCT that have been blocked due to overload can be released again using the torque tester.
