Description:
Suitable for polishing with polishing paste bars and grinding pastes on tubular constructions and railings. Short belts are compatible with commonly available belt grinders.
Feature:
- Width, metric: 100 mm
- Length, metric: 282 mm
Advantage:
- High economic efficiency due to high abrasive performance and long tool life.
- High tear strength with optimum flexibility.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: For the polishing process, apply pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing successively. When changing the polishing paste, also replace the polishing belt in order not to introduce any contaminants from the previous work step. For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 5-15 m/s.
- Applications: Polishing
- Drive types: Drum grinders
Material:
- Materials that can be worked:
- Aluminium
- Annealed cast iron
- Brass
- Bronze
- Cast steel
- Cobalt-based alloys
- Copper
- Fibre-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP, CRP)
- Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS)
- Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
- Nickel-based alloys (e.g. Inconell and Hastelloy)
- Stainless steel (INOX)
- Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC
- Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
- Thermoplastics
- Titanium
- Titanium alloys
- Zinc

Suitable for:
For the polishing process, use pre-polish and high-gloss polish in succession.
When changing the polishing compound, also change the polishing belt to avoid introducing impurities from the previous operation.
For best performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 5-15 m/s.
Note:
- Follow the safety notes from the VDS (German Abrasives Association) “Safety notes for correct use of abrasive beltsâ€.
