The SIMPLEX 3709 series sledgehammer is equipped with soft metal inserts on both sides.
The silver-coloured striking insert (3209 series) is made of aluminium and is hard, heat-resistant and replaces a classic lead hammer.
The black, reinforced malleable cast iron housing ensures high stability thanks to its thicker walls and struts. The increased weight enables high impact force.
The very stable and durable fibreglass handle is highly resistant to breakage. It is ergonomically shaped and has a non-slip handle. It has a smooth surface and is inorganic (not sensitive to moisture).
In accordance with the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This not only saves money, but also conserves resources.
This sledgehammer is available in D80mm with a total weight of 4,650g and a total length of 800mm.
