BULB-TITE blind rivets

Powerful application with excellent clamping force and weather resistance for demanding applications Originally developed for the construction sector, BULB-TITE blind rivets have also proven themselves in many other areas of application thanks to their multifunctional properties. A large part of the BULB-TITE programme has been approved by the German Institute for Building Technology in Berlin and therefore provides additional safety for use in steel and façade construction.

• Powerful in application: The shear zone coverage of the BULB-TITE blind rivet mandrel in the application means that very high shear forces can be achieved permanently.
• Weather resistance: The use of a special nose piece when processing the BULB-TITE blind rivet forms a collar that seals towards the rivet mandrel on the setting head side to prevent dirt and/or moisture from penetrating into the application. The optionally available sealing disc offers additional protection under the closing head against moisture and humidity from below.
• Excellent clamping force: The three resulting large press straps optimally distribute the clamping forces over a large area of the surface, so that even soft, thin, flexible and even brittle materials can be securely riveted without destroying them or damaging the surface.
• Sophisticated applications: BULB-TITE blind rivets guarantee a secure function even where other rivets have already given up. The three tabs of the closing head adapt to even curved application surfaces, so that riveting can also be carried out securely on pipes, in beads and other unusually shaped application parts.
• Multi-Grip: BULB-TITE rivets cover large clamping ranges. This means that fewer dimensions are required, thus reducing handling and storage costs.
• Application areas: Facades, shipbuilding, containers, lorry production and passenger transport, trailers, trapezoidal sheet metal roofs
