The ER precision boring tool can be adapted directly on to the ER40 collet chuck.
Application:
For boring bars with shank ⌀ 16 mm and insert toolholder.
Can be extended with adapter and insert toolholder to ⌀ 152.1 mm.
Adjustment accuracy 0.01 mm / with vernier 0.002 mm on the ⌀.
Boring bars with suitable standard ISO insert type CC..0602.
Insert toolholders with suitable standard ISO insert type CC..09T3.

Intended use
Reasonably foreseeable misuse
- For precision bores with tight tolerances and high surface quality within the range Ø 86 to 302 mm.
- Maximum cutting speed: 300 m/min. Reduce the cutting speed to suit the tool length.
- Article no. 237573: For bores in the range Ø 242 to 402 mm.
- Use with a HW63 arbor.
- Use with ISO indexable inserts type CC..09T3.. (Article nos. 237697 and 237698).
- Use only with insert screw Article no. 239805.
- For work in industrial environments.
- Use only when it is technically in good condition and safe to operate.
