Description:
The tape is a glass cloth electrical tape with a rubber thermosetting adhesive. It’s white, 0,177 mm thick and coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, which does not require heat, moisture or any other preparation prior to or subsequent to application. The adhesive coating must be smooth and uniform and free of lumps and bare spots. There should be no separator between adjacent layers of the roll. The tape is UL Recognised under UL Standard 510 and performs at a temperature of 150 °C without loss of physical or electrical properties.
Advantage:
- 178 microns woven insulating glass cloth tape with pressure-sensitive rubber thermosetting adhesive
- Designed to operate in 600 volt dry applications requiring high mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures
- Adhesive is specially designed and prepared to provide corrosion protection
- Edge-tear resistant, conformable, and abrasion resistant
- For use as a coil cover, anchor, banding and core, layer and crossover insulation
- Printable
Recommendation:
- For protection against highly heat-emitting electrical components and as protective winding against heat radiation, as cable protection during soldering and welding work.
