Use Scotch-Brite™ Production Hand Pad 8447 for cleaning parts and scuffing all types of surfaces before staining and painting. Our 8447 pads are made with precision web and an aluminium oxide mineral which gives an aggressive cut and clean finish, without splintering or rusting. Use them instead of steel wool for projects that demand pre-paint scuffing, finishing, contour finishing, blending and cleaning. The pads conform to irregular surfaces into crevices and corners without sacrificing performance. They are versatile for use, either by hand or with a hand pad block or an in-line sander.
