Use Standard Abrasives™ Quick Change Aluminium Oxide Unitized Wheel - 700 Series for tough deburring and cleaning applications on smaller surfaces. These wheels provide the durability needed for removing punched hole burrs on stainless steel, heavy flashing and medium-sized pits and scratches, and cleaning heavy scale or weld discolouration. Our wheels’ medium to high density construction with medium or fine grade aluminium oxide makes them ideal for mid-sequence applications such as cleaning of hard metals or general deburring. The open web material of our wheels is load resistant, to keep the abrasive working well for longer and the wheel runs clockwise and anti-clockwise, which offers more versatility when used with tools and machines. The harder material and greater edge durability of these wheels surpasses the 600 series unitised wheels, making them longer lasting and more aggressive, ideal for heavier duty tasks. Aluminium oxide mineral works well on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including aluminium.
