Description

Description:

Generally suitable for cleaning, derusting and smoothing, as well as removal of corrosion and paint. Particularly suitable for brushing on large, flat and easily accessible surfaces due to face-down use with the entire brush face applied to the workpiece. Specially developed for use within a low rotational speed range on cordless drills and power drills. Brushes with plastic filament are particularly well suited to deburring work and surface improvement. Plastic filament withstands temperatures up to 220 °C.

Feature:

  • Packaging: POS packaging
  • RPM, max.: 4500 RPM
  • Mounting system: Shank
  • Dia. filament material: 1.1 mm
  • Dia. external, metric: 50 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
  • Filament material: Plastic filament, fine (BLUE)
  • Grit size: 180

Advantage:

  • Optimum presentation on the PFERDTOOL-CENTER using hanging hole and labelling with EAN number, designation and filament material.
  • Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the workpiece contour.
  • Abrasive grains are embedded in flexible plastic filaments, which means that the filament works on the sides as well as at the tip.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: Please observe the recommended rotational speeds. Use coolant for applications where large amounts of heat are produced. For the best results, use a tool drive with a minimum output of 300 watts.
  • Applications: Cleaning; Deburring; Paint stripping; Roughening; Structuring (matt finishing, brush matting and satin finishing)
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Power drill

Material:

  • Materials that can be worked:
    • Aluminium
    • Brass
    • Bronze
    • Cast iron

    • Thermosetting plastics
    • Other non-ferrous metals
    • Stainless steel (INOX)
    • Steel, cast steel
    • Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC
    • Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
    • Thermoplastics
    • Wood

Note:

  • When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This applies in particular for use in the high rotational speed range. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
