The Light Weight blind rivet nut (protected by U.S. Pat. 10,648,500) follows the industry’s requirements for weight reduction and resource conservation, which are particularly important in the automotive sector.
With advantages of up to 50 % less weight, less space required on the closing head side and a larger clamping range than standard nuts, they also offer the same or even better strength properties than conventional blind rivet nuts. The Light Weight blind rivet nuts are particularly advantageous when there is only one-sided access to the application.
Process monitoring and control are possible for the setting process.
