Terminology:
- The setting head is the part of the blind rivet nut that rests on the visible side of the component. The user can choose between the following variants:
- Flat head - for a large contact surface on the component
- Small head – for minimal protrusion of the blind rivet nut and thus an almost flat contact surface of the assembly part
- Countersunk head – for flat surfaces with countersunk holes
- The shaft is the part of the blind rivet nut that deforms during the setting process and fixes the blind rivet nut in the component. This creates the so-called closing head. The user can choose from the following variants: Round, knurled or polygonal (hexagonal or square)
- The material: The customer can obtain the blind rivet nut in steel, aluminium or stainless steel (A2, A4) depending on the application.
- The thread: The blind rivet nuts are equipped with metric threads as standard, with the steel blind rivet nuts meeting the requirements of strength class 8.8. Other dimensions, such as imperial or coarse threads, are available on request.
