The temperature measuring strips testoterm are self-adhesive, temperature-sensitive foils that react with colour change to specific temperature overshoots.
- They are ideal for monitoring the temperature of products and processes where a specific temperature should not be exceeded, e.g. for moving or small objects such as circuit boards, for long-term monitoring during storage and transport, in the laboratory, in automotive engineering or aerospace
- The temperature measuring strips in use The temperature measuring strips are supplied in a booklet with 10 pieces each
- Like stickers, they can be easily detached from the booklet and stuck onto the object to be measured
- On the temperature measuring strips you can see a temperature scale from +204 °C to +260 °C, which is divided into white boxes
- As soon as a certain temperature point is exceeded, the temperature measuring strip in the relevant boxes changes colour within 2 to 3 seconds
- The temperature steps that can be read are as follows: 204 °C; 210 °C; 216 °C; 224 °C; 232 °C; 241 °C; 249 °C; 254 °C and 260° C
- The colouring is irreversible: once the temperature has been exceeded, the temperature measuring strip does not change colour even if the temperature drops again
- This means that critical temperature fluctuations can be read even after a long time, e.g. in warehouses and during transport
