Thanks to their innovative shape, the GARANT banded earplugs can be used in all three common wearing positions. This allows the band to be worn around the neck, over the head or under the chin depending on the requirement and/or personal preference. The shape of the earplug is based on the anatomy of the auditory canal opening and, together with the flexible band joint, ensures pleasant and complete coverage of the auditory canal. In combination with its low weight and anatomical band shape – in all three wearing positions – this results in a very comfortable fit. The surface of the earplugs is made from narrow-pored PU, which reduces the adhesion of dirt. Replacing the earplugs for hygienic reasons (replacement earplugs No. 097683 28) can be performed very quickly in just a few movements. UTC SNR = 29 dB (H = 30 dB, M = 25 dB, L = 24 dB). OTH SNR = 28 dB (H = 30 dB, M = 24 dB, L = 22 dB). BTH SNR = 28 dB (H = 30 dB, M = 25 dB, L = 23 dB).

- Optimum protective effect is achieved only when the residual noise level reaching the ear of the wearer is within the range 70 dB to 80 dB.
- Subtraction of the standard deviation from the average noise attenuation yields an assumed protective effect of the hearing protection system under consideration.
- The attenuation level specified for these products is based on the attenuation of continuous noise.
- These earplugs are not suitable for use in environments with intermittent or spontaneous noise where a higher level of sound protection is required, or in areas that require additional protection against low frequencies in high-noise environments.
