3M™ Lapping Film 263X on a 3 mil film backing with aluminum oxide grain is available in grain sizes 0.05 and 40 microns. It is a type P 3M Lapping Film with a harder binding system for hard materials.
Advantage:

- Consistent cut rate, finish and life
- Available in discs, sheets and rolls
Recommendation:
- All Lapping films should be used ″wet″
- Water, emulsion or other commercially available coolants can be used as grinding aids
