Swing clamps are designed for clamping devices in which the clamping points must be free when removing or inserting them. The swing clamps operate as single-acting or double-acting pull cylinders. The swing clamps are available in three housing types and different operating modes. The clamping movement is initiated by a superimposed swivel and lifting movement. The actual clamping stroke is then carried out in a linear motion. A variety of variants are available with a left or right swivel angle of 90°. The swing clamps are durable because they have a metal scraper to protect chips, and an overload protection protects the swing mechanism against damage in the event of a blockage in the swing process.

Note

• If the permissible volume flow at the swing clamps is exceeded, a throttle check valve must be connected in between.
• The permissible operating pressure of the swing clamps depends on the tension arm length.
• When installing the tension arms, they must be held in place to prevent damage to the ball guide of the swing clamps.
• Depending on the ventilation connection, the sintered filter must be replaced with a locking screw for the single-acting swing clamps.
• The clamping arm for the swing clamps is not included in the scope of delivery.
• Observe safety instructions.
